Digital Experience & Prototyping Lab
Academic-based research and development in human factors, digital media, design, and technology.
Digital Experience & Prototyping Lab
Innovations
The Digital Experience and Prototyping Lab (DEPL) is a laboratory dedicated to the study and research of human factors, digital media, and technology. Students and faculty can use the laboratory to explore, create, and build new iterations of digital media and research their implications to support and extend human capabilities. The laboratory provides unique technologies for designing augmented reality and immersive media experiences, digital fabrication and 3D printing.
Research & Development
For researchers interested in studying the impact of digital creations on people, DEPL has technologies for monitoring human eye movement (Eye Tracking) and human emotional arousal changes (Electrodermal Activity). DEPL provides unique technologies in a space designed to encourage collaboration among students, educators, and researchers.
